When we talk of Top Engineering Institutes of Haryana we find the name of Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology on top of the list. The institute is approved by AICTE, Govt. of India, a prestigious certification and is affiliated to Kurukashetra University, Kurukshetra, one of the top ten universities of India. The ideal location of PIET on the brink of NH1 makes it convenient to reach and thus has been able to woo aspirants even from the metro cities like Delhi because for Delhites it just takes 50 minutes to arrive hassle free.

This 16 acre campus is ideal in so many ways. The infrastructure is one of these. The buildings are spacious with green trees all round. Class rooms have been structured to provide sun light to the optimum which keeps students and teachers energetic all through the day. All interiors are air-conditioned and provide comfort in hot summer days. The central courtyard has a 3000+ capacity amphitheater which is always zooming and bubbling with activities helping youth to enjoy and learn about extracurricular aspects of personality, which is of vital importance. The hostels for boys and girls are well furnished for comfort. A solar unit ensures 24 hour hot water supply and a power supply backup system is also in place. There are book and digital libraries to help learners invest time towards excellence. This is one of the reasons that the ‘CAREER CONNECT’ journal rated PIET as the four and a half star category college , a matter of pride for the inmates and the VPET Management who has invested total thought process for the purpose.

All above is the result of a deep research by the management who developed strong tie-ups with universities of Singapore, USA, UK, Germany, Sweden, Holland etc. and bench marked everything to be at par with international standards as they have in their plans to cover so many countries and a few of which like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh are already a part of PIET, their nationals having at home feeling here. At the same time PIET can boast of being the best because despite the fact that there being more than 6000 colleges spread across the states of India, so many students from states like J&K, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and other North Eastern regions come all the way here to mingle with a mixed culture to enhance their skills and polish personalities.

Some 28 fully loaded workshops with latest equipment and 20 computer labs to accommodate 1200 students at one time supported by the best of most competent faculty team, which too includes scholars from various states provide more than ample opportunities to students to be up to the international levels.  All this is further bettered by exposing the aspirants to guest lectures, international seminars, industrial visits, projects and practical modeling best of which are financed by the college authorities. The outstanding ones also get a chance to go abroad under student/faculty exchange programs with various European and American universities.
